Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents fled to the US where they were granted asylum. She was raised by her sisters who resided living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by appearing in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada received an honorary award for the role of Chiara, the main character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. The actress was an actor in a variety of television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent roles included the action-science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television.
